One of the best moving companies I’ve ever hired

I have moved with several companies..however Best Man Movers was one of the best companies I have ever hired.. I was referred by my co worker who is a apartment manager.. She told me that the have moved multiple clients in her agency and all of them came back to thank her personally.. They arrived early, we’re professional and even placed everything how I wanted it.. They didn’t damage anything and were very friendly and knowledgeable! I love these guys! They we’re awesome.. I just referred them to move my mother because I trust the work.. Thank you guys!

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $485

Unprofessional work, delayed delivery, damaged furniture, blaming customers, avoiding responsibility, right after I wrote about my experience they came to my store and wrote retaliatory false reviews, he even never been to my spa.need I say more? don't waste your time and money, go somewhere else

If I could give a negative rating, I absolutely would. I am extremely dissatisfied with this moving experience and strongly advise everyone not to use this company. You will being blamed there are things you don’t mention even you have answered all the question they asked over the phone , also end up paying far more than the quoted price in their ads because they move extremely slowly and are completely unprofessional. They don’t know how to move or handle furniture properly, and they deliberately drag out the process. It felt like they picked random people off the street to help, they arguing with each other, talking on the phones, and even damaged my cabinet and TV but refusing to take responsibility!

I do understand people always pay more depending the stuff but is it $500 more?? I do understand people not robot and need rest but do you really needs 2 people holding one chair and using elevation for it to up down the truck ??? If it weren’t for my family stepping in to help, the move would have taken the entire day. But even with my family helping , they can still wasted the time we saved to somewhere else.

I was not saying anything instead of paying the 800 and said bye ,I tried to let it go and not ruined my moving day.

But after i organized everything and find out the $4k tv is broken and try to contact to them ,they choose to ignore me at beginning , after 2 days , i text again and they tell me they are sure i have checked my tv within 24 hrs ,Everybody dose that and this is not their problem lol I don’t even mention my cabinet damage.

This was truly an awful, awful experience. Please hire a professional moving company, or at least this company should take a look at how your competitors operate and handle their work!

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $802

I booked them last minute through a third party when I realized that the job was too big for just me. (I should have gone directly through the company, but I wasn't sure where to begin..)I am a  single girl moving back to Atlanta, and I didn't want to burden my friends.  They were able to accommodate my request, arrived at the the time they stated when they called to confirm.  They were polite and friendly.  I appreciated their efficiency and they made me feel comfortable.  They were kind enough to assemble my bed and attach the mirror to my dresser-- they clearly knew what they were doing, so I left them while I unpacked in another room.  I loved hearing them banter and laughing because it showed they enjoyed their job.   In short, they were professional, friendly and I would definitely use them again.  .

Service cost: $150

We had a last minute move and needed some assistance within 24 hours. We only needed assistance with moving our belongings from a truck to a storage center. We call Best Man Movers to see if they could assist and they stated they could. They also stated they would call to confirm a couple hours before we were supposed to meet. However, when it was two hours for our scheduled time, I asked my husband to call to confirm and all they said was that "they couldn't fit us in and would not be able to do the job". We were left without any assistance - however, we did find another company who was able to come in 1 hour and was awesome - contact us if you want to know how to contact them.

I got the impression this business is run by people that probably worked (as movers) for a moving company before and thought they could go it on their own.  But, just because you can do a job doesn't mean you are qualified to own and run the company.  These people need to stop trying to act like a reputable business.  The arrived on time wth dirty clothes and uncombed hair, but ready for work.  It went downhill from there.   The people that run this business could care less about referrals and repeat business because there is another family moving, another potential sucker, around the corner. Based on the way they treated my furntiure and my complaints,  I found some of these excellent reviews quesionable (all the poor ones sound just like my experience with the people I dealt with) and I would be surprised if they are still in business in a few years.  My family and I have to look at and and live with all the dings, scratches, scrapes, and broken pieces of wood from dresser legs that happened in the move.  The owner, Ricky, told me " most people understand that there will be some damage in the move and most people don't complain about it".  If you don't care about your furniture or have cheap easily replacable furnture then go with these guys because they are cheaper.  If you have any quality items that you value, then I would keep looking because what you pay in replacing your furntiure will far exceed what you save wtih this company.  They say that they will pay for damages, but they flat out told me that they would not and didn't even bother to offer an apology.  Even if someone takes the time to write false excellent reviews for themselves, nothing takes the place of excellent customer service, genuine courtesy, word of mouth referrrals, and repeat business. Nothing! .

In the last week
On time and courteous workers but not very experienced in moving furniture. They spent over 45min trying to move one peice of furniture, got lost going to the delivery location and worst off, damaged the walls of the move out site.. Ricky was very rude and full of 'ish and felt that he wasn't responsible for the damages. I had to argue him down about the excess time it took them to move those few pieces of furniture. I ended up loading a lot of the items on my own truck!! I was NOT about to pay for 6 hrs!! It was a nightmare.. I don't recommend this company; seems like a hit or miss situation.. just pay a few extra bucks and get real professionals.. I try to support my people but it fails every single time.

I RECOMMEND BEST MAN MOVERS !! June 2013,  I moved my family from Sandy Springs to Milton GA, and we hired Best Man Movers to help with the move.  The evening before the move, I rented my own 26 foot U-Haul and my son and I packed it from the back to the front, it was full from top to bottom.  The next morning Ricky and his guys arrived ontime, and they unloaded the heavy furniture and larger pieces for me, and 4 hours later their 26 foot truck was jam packed as well.  These guys worked hard, and I was impressed with the way we were treated during the move itself.  Lot's of thank you's and yes sir's..and I am not the kind of guy who looks for that, but we could tell that Ricky has his guys trained to be extra courteous.  To prove my point, we noticed that every single time one of the movers saw us with a box, they quickly offered to take it from us and run it out to the truck, we thought that was awesome, they would even do this if one of my kids had a box or an item they were taking outside..  My wife and I are in sales, so we tend to notice quality, and these guys were all very hard working and interested in making our move go smoothly.   Ok, so I am not done.  When both trucks arrived to our new house here in Milton, Ricky and the team unloaded their truck very quickly and were great to work with in regards to asking me, or my wife, where every box or piece of furniture went.  When their truck was being unloaded, it occurred to me that my wife set up the move with Best Man Movers, and I stared to wonder if Ricky was going to unload the second truck. Yikes.   It was getting late in the day, everyone had to be hot and tired, and I had this thought that they would leave, and I would have to unload the second truck myself, which would have killed me.  I asked Anna if she was sure they would unload "our" 26 foot truck, and she sheepishly said they discussed it, and she was pretty sure they were going to unload it.  So before to long, Ricky came in to where we were, and I had the chance to ask him if they would be helping with the 2nd truck, and he said these words "Yes Sir !!  We don't leave until the job is done !! " He did not hesitate or try and screw me on the price, they unloaded the second truck, and spent a few extra hours helping us.  I was very relieved and happy that Best Man Movers was in my driveway, because they unloaded every single item, placed it in my new house, and worked hard the entire time. Lastly, we never ever once saw Ricky or his guys on their cell phones.  That's a pretty good sign in my book. The only reason I am writing this review is because I really appreciate Ricky getting the job done for us.   Murray Shelton 865-414-6123 Milton, GA. 30004    .

We waited until the last minute to schedule our move, but Best Man Movers was able to accommodate our schedule at a fair price. They arrived on time and worked efficiently to load our items onto the truck. The delivery and unloading were swift, and the movers handled our items with care. Knowing we were on a budget, they were sure to work within the expected amount of time, so as not to incur overages.The two movers and the supervisor were very professional and polite. We were very pleased, and will use them again!

Service cost: $450

I am the father of a daughter and had verbally contracted with 2 men and a truck (number on a roadside sign) through repeated days of long distance communication and confirmation of the move date, time, and location in Duluth GA to Relo-Cube terminal in Conley GA.  It was imperative, since that the details of the move had to be very precise for the following reasons: (1) Mother (mother arrived via air on Sat, June 07); mother and daughter were the active particpants at the move location in Duluth GA (Sunday, June 08)
(2) The apartment had to be cleaned and emptied of contents on Sunday, June 08; contents had to be moved, loaded, unloaded, and pack from moving site in Duluth GA to Relo-Cube in Conley GA 
(3) The apartment had to be cleaned on arrival on Sat and completed on Sunday (4) The apartment had to be inspected on Monday morning on June 09
(5) Mother and daughter had to drive (12 hrs) following inspection for return home to Indiana
(6) Daughter had to start college on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 8:00am for mandatory orientation. 
With "all" those details present, Two Men and a Truck (not a credible 2 Men and a Truck) or Five Star Movers (not the credible 5 Star Movers GA) canceled, rescheduled, canceled, rescheduled, over the course of a five hour period. 
Finally, I went on a search over the Internet, (I am home in Indiana), to find a credible and reliable mover on a Sunday afternoon.  I saw the Best Man home page and read a few of the customer reviews and gave Best Man this "desperate call from a dad in Indiana."  I told the moving superhero who took the call my story, and he replied, "we can defintely help you."  At this time, I thought he would absolutely charged me a maximum fee, since he knew I was desperate, but he did not; he charged me the regular rate which was absolutely within my budget and within 6 dollars of the previous rate quoted.  I am forever grateful to these "moving superheros" who came to my daughter, mother, and father's moving rescue.  Thank you forever and always!
